Obituary for Una Boothe

Mrs. Una Boothe, (née Gordon-Cox) late of Brooklyn, New York, and Lake Worth, Florida passed peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Mrs. Boothe was the beloved wife of Oliver, precious mother of Jenese Croasdale-Griffiths, Bryan Croasdale, Dianne Cox, and Raymond (Dean) Cox, loving grandmother of Tanese Heywood, Gavin Taylor, Ramone Croasdale, Robert Henry, Alaphia Cox, Shanae Heywood, Gabriel Taylor, and Sayan Taylor.
Mrs. Boothe was a dedicated and faithful Christian whose passion was singing. She served as choir member of the Portmore Missionary Church in her birth country Jamaica, the Lenox Road Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY, and the Florida Gardens Baptist Church in Lake Worth, FL. Her passion for singing and her melodious voice will be forever remembered by all those who knew her.
A certified nursing assistant by profession, Mrs. Boothe will be remember by her clients and colleagues as a caring and compassionate healthcare assistant with a pleasant demeanor and a gentle touch.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Barracks Tabernacle Church, Aenon Town, Clarendon, Jamaica, W.I. Viewing at 10:30 a.m. Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the family plot, Thatchwalk, St. Ann, Jamaica.
