Obituary for Thomas Neild

On February 6th, 2017, Thomas Neild passed from his life here and went to join those he loved. He was born December 4, 1939 in Camden, N.J.

He was the first son of four siblings, sibling Nancy (Cramer) and Robert A. Neild predeceased him. Sister Joyce Sankus is the remaining sibling. Tom was the proud father of Mark, Thomas III (Valeri), & Leigh Ann Brogan, (Jim) Grandfather of Ashley, Erin, Samantha, Lauren Brogan, Tyler, Thomas IV, Rachel, James Brogan V and great grandson Hayden Schaeffer.

Tom worked as a cable repairman for N.J. Bell and in 1974 transferred to Bell South in Florida & retired after 39 years in the year 1989. In retirement there were memorable times cruising, fishing, and being with family & friends. Tom is an Army Veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He also volunteered at Habitat For Humanity here in Stuart and was a volunteer fireman at Lakes Volunteer Fire Co., Medford, N.J.

Tom will be laid to rest in ALL SAINTS CEMETERY in Jensen Beach on Saturday, February 11, 2017 10:00 am; with Dr. James Bailey of Peace Presbyterian Church officiating services at his site.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. His wife Nancy is very appreciative for those who have kept us in their prayers and gave us support while Tom was in his final days.

A memorial; gift in his name to Peace Presbyterian Church Mission Committee, 4881 S.E. Cove Rd, Stuart, FL 34997 or Treasure Coast Hospice where Tom spent his final days, located at 1201 S.E. Indian S, Stuart, FL 34997 would be appreciated.
