Patricia Ruth (Lotti) Fregeau, 74, died peacefully at her home in Hobe Sound, Florida on April 3rd with her husband at her side.
Patricia was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on September 26, 1942, the oldest daughter of Charles and Mary (Fran) Lotti. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, the Reverend Stephen Fregeau, her daughter Michelle (Fregeau) Murphy and husband Michael of Rockland, MA, her son Stephen Fregeau and wife Christine of Rochester, NY, her grandchildren Vincent Ayube, Gabrielle Fregeau, Zachary Murphy and Jeremy Fregeau, and her niece Kelly Jarvis and husband Ken.
Patricia was preceeded in death by her bothers Jimmy and Mickey Lotti. She leaves behind her sister Judy Roy and husband Roger of Abington, MA; her sister Jacqueline Feeman and husband Jack of Georgia; her brother Michael Lotti and wife Karen of Whitman, MA; her sister Michelle Nelson and husband Jay of Duxbury, MA; and her sister Mary Adams and Roland of Rochester, MA; her cousins Paul McNeil and wife Pat of Virginia; and George McNeil and wife Marsha of Abington, MA. Patricia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her.
Patricia attended school in Abington and was a member of the graduating Class of 1960. She went on to attend nursing school at the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. In addition to serving as a visiting nurse in Rockland, Pat and her husband also owned Emergency Equipment Company in Rockland for many years.
Pat had a strong religious conviction and was involved in her church, Marriage Encounter, Youth Encounter Spirit, Cursillo, Daughters of the King, and weekly Bible studies and prayer groups. Pat and her husband were called to serve at the Duncan Conference Center in Delray Beach, Florida for 10 years and made Florida their permanent home.
Pat had a passion for collecting tea pots and socializing with several knitting and craft groups in both Massachusetts and Florida. In her younger days she was an avid camper and square dance. Throughout her life she was a loving caretaker of her extended family, friends and those within her church and the local community - always opening her home and heart to those in need.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Pat’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Stuart, Florida on Saturday, April 8th at 3:30 pm. A service in Rockland, MA will also take place at a later date.
