Obituary for Nicole (Nickie) Renee Durbin White

Nicole Renee Durbin White (Nickie), Age 49, went to be with the Lord on May 25th, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. after a long battle of cancer. She started her life out in Akron and Rittman Ohio, and moved to Florida at 3 and a half years old and has been a resident of Palm Beach County until she passed away.

She attended Palm Beach State College and FAU earning a Bachelors Degree in Special Education. She taught at Western Pines for 16 years and was a very well known and loved teacher. She has attended Community of Hope Church for 17 years, and always enjoyed teaching Sunday School.

She Married Bruce White on November 15th, 1986. She has been a faithful Christ follower since she was born, always showing his love through her actions. She is remembered as a happy, kind, strong, loving, giving, woman of God. The Memorial Service will be held at Community of Hope on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 3 PM.

Special thanks goes to all of the nurses and doctors that have helped her throughout her life. Thank you to everyone's continued prayers through her battle against cancer, she took it head on and refused to ever give up. She got her strength through God and the power of prayer! A huge thank you to Community of Hope for everything they have done for our family, for keeping a smile on her face, and for helping to organize her memorial service.

She is survived by her husband Bruce White; Children Jackie (Leo) Luna, Wendy (Eric) White, and Teresa Robsinson-Fort; and grandchildren Leo Luna, Bella Luna, LouMay White, Katelyn Robinson, Natalie Fort, and Presley Fort; Her parents Becky Durbin and Mike Durbin; Grandmother Gladys Manning; Her sister Julie (Brent) Bludworth; Sister In Law's Wendy (Pat) Johnstonbaugh, Marcia White; Nieces and Nephews: Eli Bludworth, Chloe Bludworth, Tiffany Upchurch, David White, Ryan Johnstonbaugh, and Cami Johnstonbaugh. Her cat Kitten, and several more family members!

Our family only asks now for prayers and love. Please in lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to Community of Hope. We know that would be what Nicole would have wanted, it was her family and they are so loving, giving, and supportive to everyone. Thank you.
