Obituary for Michael J. McGarry

On Wednesday, January 17, 2018, Michael McGarry, age 71 of Jensen Beach, ended a long health battle which included complications from Crohn's Disease. At the time of his death he was surrounded by his loving wife, daughters, and other close family members.

Mike was born on February 13, 1946 in Youngstown, OH, the son of the late Michael and Agnes McGarry. He worked in the trucking industry for many years in OH and the Chicago area before he moved to Jensen Beach in 2007. Mike's family will miss his wit, charm and amazing sense of humor and we know he would want to be fondly remembered as he lived his life to the fullest.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Sharren McGarry , three daughters, Shannon Coyle of Michigan City, IN, Holly (Chip) Ganschow of Jensen Beach, FL, Katie McGarry (fiance Brad Dalbec) of Palm City, FL,one son, Michael McGarry of San Francisco, CA, 6 grandchildren, Brittney Ganschow, Kevin McGarry-Schoof, Megan Ganschow, Emily Ganschow, Brendan Coyle, Aidan Coyle and 2 great-grandchildren, nieces Kristen(Oron) Daihes, Keri Kukral, nephew Luke Hensley, sisters-in-law Lona Hensley and Karren (Dennis) Kukral.

A memorial mass will be Tuesday, April 3, at 10:00 AM at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Rd, Jensen Beach, FL.
