Obituary for Lynette M. Work-Spunar

Lynette Spunar, 58 yrs old.

After having taken early retirement due to her battle with cancer, Lynette Spunar passed away on February 12th, 2018 at the Legacy House of Ocala.

In her life, Lynette Spunar graduated from High School, was a Licensed Insurance agent at Plastridge Ins. Agency, married Tibor Szijarto, was an avid motorcycle rider, and loved helping people and taking care of animals.

She was with her partner, recently turned husband, Tibor Szijarto, for the past 9 yrs. As said by Tibor, “She was my dream-girl, excelent partner, my lover, my best friend, and riding partner on our Harley's.”

Lynette was a well trained martial artist, trained by Sensei Rick Ross (nickname of Q) and Sensei David. She was an excellent motorcycle rider and loved her Harley Davidson that she called Serenity. She had many friends whom she loved and was respected by. Lynette was awarded for her bravery as a disaster volunteer for the American Redcross because she helped many people during Hurricane Andrew. She loved to travel and with her partner fulfilled a dream of going to Europe by visiting Tibor’s home country of Hungary.

Lynette’s biggest dream in life was to be married under the eyes of God and she was able to fulfill that last fall with Tibor Szijarto. Along with dreams of being married she also dreamt of having kids and through her marriage became a beautiful stepmother to Niki and Peter, Tibor’s children.

Lynette was a fighter and never once gave up through more than a decade of battling cancer even til her last breath. She should be an inspiration for anyone who is battling obstacles in their lives, regardles what that obstacle is. She will be missed and loved by husband Tibor, stepchildren Niki, and Peter, her family, Father Marty Work, sister Camille Work, brothers Deane Work, Roy Work, stepmother Jerry, Uncle Bob and Aunt Ginnie, and by all her friends and her beloved animals Minnie and Soldier.

The Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Del Lago Chapel, 131 S. Lakeside Dr., Lake Worth FL 33460
