Obituary for Harold Charles Goehring, Jr.

Harold Charles “Chuck” Goehring Jr. joined his mother and father in heaven on April 26, 2018. He was 71.

Chuck was born on June 20, 1946, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to his parents Alice and Harold Goehring Sr.. He graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1964 and served our nation four years in the US Air Force. Chuck subsequently spent his career as a union electrician, primarily in the Palm Beach County area. He retired in 2008.

Chuck was well known as a more than avid fisherman and hunter throughout his life, but more importantly was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. He is well-loved by his family and is remembered for his generous and joyful nature. In retirement, he enjoyed doting on his family.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Collin, Erica and Kevin (son-in-law); his siblings John Goehring and Mary Alice Wade (Jeff); and his niece and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on April 30 at 4:00 pm at New Life Alliance Church, 1815 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Chuck’s life.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association, American Lung Association, or the American Cancer Society to further research in prevention and treatment.
