Dr. Harold A Levin
Age 93, of Lake Worth
Passed away surrounded by family at home on July 11, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Sadie and Israel, brother, William, first wife, Florence. Survived by beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Beatrice, half-sister, Regina, three sons (Stephen, Paul, David), daughter (Shaun Marie), step-daughter (Nanette), step-son (Marc), six grand-children (Megan, Jessica, Daniel, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, Elena), and great-grand-daughter (Isabella). Harold valued family and country above all other things. After growing up during The Great Depression and serving in the infantry in WWII, he become a leading dentist on Long Island, NY. He was a pioneer in the new fields of implantology and dental anesthesiology in the 1960s. He served many years on the Youth Advisory Council of Farmingdale, NY, and as chair of a Democratic Party Club in Lake Worth, FL. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his humor, warmth, fortitude, integrity, and generosity. The family wishes to thank the hospice staff of Trustbridge, Inc. A private cemetery service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation, Hospice by the Sea Foundation, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
