Obituary for Glenice Williams Trainor

Glenice (Williams) Trainor of Jensen Beach, Florida, formerly of Northford passed away on April 1, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Trainor. Born in New Haven, CT to the late Clarence and Eleanor Williams of Northford, CT.

Glenice retired from Southern New England Telephone in 1989 and then relocated to Jensen Beach, Florida and worked as a Administrative Assistant for Treasure Coast Kidney Center until her retirement 2017.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving son Lee Meyers (Kim James) of West Palm Beach, sisters Sandra (Verne) Garbers of Port St Lucie, FL, Audrey (Jack) Hanniford of Branford, CT, Betsey Williams of Northford, CT. In addition, she is survived by three nephews (Jeffrey (Lisa) Caisse, Port St Lucie, FL, Richard (Lainie) Rompf, Port St Lucie, FL, Brian (Tracy) Caisse of Palm City, Florida and three neices Krista Hanniford of Branford, CT, Tara Hanniford of Hamden, CT, Katie Rompf of Port St Lucie, FL. She was predeceased by her brother Glenn and a sister Janet Rompf.

She was a member of the VFW #10066, Jensen Beach, FL, MOCC of Jensen Beach, Florida, Danish Sisterhood #12, New Haven, CT, American Legion #318, Port St Lucie, FL and the Telephone Pioneers, New Haven, CT.

There will be a graveside service at the Northford Cemetery on June 23, 2018. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at Doody's Totoket Inn directly after the graveside service.
