Obituary for Diana Helen O'Brien

West Palm Beach, Florida - Diana Helen O'Brien, a dedicated Wife, loving Mother and Nana, has departed for her Heavenly Home on Wednesday May 9th, 2018 at Betheseda Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

Born to Harold Montross and Florence Lindenau in 1939 on the 21st of February in Yonkers, New York, Diana spent countless hours venturing her favorite places, Depew Park in Peekskill, NY where she saw many concerts and White Plains with all of her favorite shops and stores. She later married the love of her life John A.K.A Jack O'Brien on 12/09/1962 and in 1976 they moved to raise their three beautiful children, spending the rest of their many years together in the ever so sunny, Palm Beach, FL.

Diana spent her days in the sunshine state caring for her Husband, children and raising Golden Retrievers. She was a brilliant cook and enjoyed good food, such as her all-time favorite treat, crab legs! She adored musicals and was a lover of Judy Garland, Shirley Temple and Elvis. She spent her nights on the porch singing her favorite songs with her beloved Husband Jack and close friend Ernie Yoeman. Diana loved to shop, malls, flea markets, you name it, she was outgoing, social and had a smile that could light up a room.

She is survived by her Daughter, Lisa Lynn Durda, and Fiancée Michael Scivoletto. Her Son, Brad Patrick O'Brien and Wife Katie O'Brien. She was survived by the loves of her life, her grandchildren: Lisas Daughter, Sara and Brads children, Brendon, Conor, Nikolas and Natalie. Sisters, Mary Jo Annetts, Jackie Montross and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
