Obituary for Betty Weber

Elizabeth “Betty” Weber, a native of Covington, Kentucky and longtime resident of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age 95 on May 3rd. She is predeceased by her husband of 75 years, Richard, and by her son, Richard.

Elizabeth served with distinction as president and treasure of the Lake Worth Women’s Club and was a dedicated volunteer for many years at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. She is remembered, too, as a longstanding parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Worth. Elizabeth was an avid bridge player and found great joy in tending to her beautiful orchids and rose bushes.

Elizabeth is survived by five daughters and one son (Phyllis Kennedy, Frances Moseley, Joan Stanton, Mary Steffen, Laura Strehle, Anthony Weber), 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by All County Funeral Home in Lake Worth. She will be interred with her husband, a World War II veteran, at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
