Obituary for Arlene Berrio

Arlene M. (Cote) Berrio passed away on April 10, 2017, a day after celebrating her 93rd birthday with family. She was born in Braintree, MA on April 9, 1924, and has been a resident of Boca Raton, FL since 2000

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Berrio) Bostic, and sons Eugene and Robert Berrio. Grandchildren: Eugene “Gino,” Julie, Jessica, Kate, Jenny, Beau, Lauren, Justin “Bucky,” Tyler, Bryan, and Jessica. Great-grandchildren: Gwen, Dax, Mia, Taylor and Keagan; sister, Claire Dunigan, and brother, Eugene Cote; and many nieces and nephew. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Clement W. Berrio; and sons, Bruce and Stephen Berrio.

Arlene enjoyed cooking, arts-n-craft, traveling, cruising, dancing, going to the casinos, and most of all, family. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and had some special outfits for some of them. She also enjoyed sharing her knowledge and crafty ideas with everyone.

She worked at the Armstrong Co in Holbrook, MA, and in the Rockland School System for many years in Rockland, MA.

She attended St. Patrick’s Church in Boca Raton and was a longtime member of Holy Family Church in Rockland, MA.

At this time arrangements is being made for Celebration of Arlene’s life with family and friends.

Instead of flowers, we ask that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
